Johnson is no stranger to the struggles of business, having filed for Replica Handbags UK bankruptcy in 2012, but to her it's all part of the ride. "It ain't hard when you love it," she deadpanned. "It's beautiful when you love it, and I still love it after 50 years. I still love it. I'm creative consultant for all my brands, so I kick them in the ass when they need to get a little more Replica Designer Handbags creative. It's great. It's just perfect. I've had a Cheap Watches UK perfectly wonderful, happy life."As for her plans for the Fake Watches UK awards ceremony, she'll attend with her family, including her daughter, Lulu, Hublot Replica UK and two granddaughters. "I'm going to drag my whole family on stage to cartwheel with me," she laughed about what she'll do when she accepts the Christian Louboutin Replica UK award. Just another thing to look forward to at the CFDA Awards ceremony on June 1.

Old Business:
Vice President: Keith Groller, after consultation with his employers at the Morning
Call, declined the position due to potential conflict of interest. Dave Ernst nominated Steve Smull for Vice
President. The nomination was
unanimously approved.
Umpire's Fees: D. Ernst reported
on his conversation with the Bethlehem Umpires Association. BUA wants at least $4 over 3 years; they
are getting $5 from BML (2-first year, 1-second, 2-third) and $4 from legion
leagues. A discussion insued about fees; a $1 increase sounds small,
particularly for financially secure teams, but represents $2 per each home game
for a total of $32 for the first year.
However, the BUA does have us over somewhat of a barrel at this point,
so to speak. The membership voted to
give an increase of $1, $1, and $2 over 3 years, for a total of $4 as requested
by BUA, with the general feeling that we must do this in order to get quality
umpires. D. Rosenberger suggested we
investigate other possibilities such as our own umpires association for future
years.
Other
umpire-related suggestions include writing the names of
umpires in the scorebook (as in Legion) so managers know which umpire is
which. We will incorporate this in By-Laws
next year. Also, J. LaBella reminds
managers the umpire blacklist can be
adjusted over the entire season. M.
Svanson reminded J. LaBella that Upper Perk paid third umpire for playoff games
and team must be reimbursed by BUA.
Cetronia: The team formerly known as Cetronia plans to move to Easton HS and
has the OK from the high school and legion baseball coaches, although they must
play away or use Palmer field until high school season complete. Easton Bulldogs tentative name; uniforms
being ordered. Team will be in North
Division for 1996 season since schedule is already drafted; any change of
division will be discussed after the season.
Team's move to an area not represented in the League was
enthusiastically received by membership.
D. Hemerly reported on some of his discussions regarding S.
Andrews. As of now, S. Andrews is
eligible to play on a team in this League (or in BML) only when he pays the
$240 owed plus a box of baseballs.
Spring Valley Sportsmen's Club: $100 check will be issued when transfer of treasury is complete.
Hall of Fame Plaques: Dave Lutte will check
with Chuck Frantz for a price when he returns.
New Business:
Schedules: D. Ernst distributed tentative schedules, with dates open prior to
and during All-Star Game as well as for league meetings. All teams should verify that they have the
right number of home and away games, 16 each.
If there are any problems please contact D. Ernst, the earlier the
better so schedule can be finalized as soon as possible.
East Texas potential field problem: There is a possibility
East Texas will lose its field -- they will know after a forthcoming meeting.
In the event they do, since Cetronia is
moving, it would be possible for East Texas to take over Cetronia's slot for
Cedarbrook field. If necessary, East
Texas will contact Bill Berkheimer of Parks Department.
Publicity: T. Greb reminds team representatives that writeups about each team
should be submitted at the April meeting if possible (and no later than April
20). Writeups should include anything
of interest about the team: new and
returning players (background, awards, where else they played such as
"just finished college season at West Chester as starting catcher"),
manager changes, site changes or improvements, new uniforms or nicknames, absolutely anything of interest -- the
more the better. Last year very few
teams submitted information -- let's do it right this year!
Banquet: Since Ray Ganser will no longer be coordinating the banquet, a new
"banquet manager" is needed.
The League was informed that Dave Snyder volunteered to take over
banquet responsibilities. All agreed
enthusiastically and were grateful he had volunteered to take over the job; he
will be compensated. First issue is to
set a banquet date and reserve it at West End Youth Center; August 24 is the
Saturday before Labor Day (when Banquet is traditionally held).
Upper Perk: Golf Tournament August 10 - call M. Svanson for further
information.
Baseballs: $50.95 per dozen due at April meeting.
