Tri-County Baseball League
Johnson is no stranger to the struggles of business, having filed for Replica Handbags UK bankruptcy in 2012, but to her it's all part of the ride. "It ain't hard when you love it," she deadpanned. "It's beautiful when you love it, and I still love it after 50 years. I still love it. I'm creative consultant for all my brands, so I kick them in the ass when they need to get a little more Replica Designer Handbags creative. It's great. It's just perfect. I've had a Cheap Watches UK perfectly wonderful, happy life."As for her plans for the Fake Watches UK awards ceremony, she'll attend with her family, including her daughter, Lulu, Hublot Replica UK and two granddaughters. "I'm going to drag my whole family on stage to cartwheel with me," she laughed about what she'll do when she accepts the Christian Louboutin Replica UK award. Just another thing to look forward to at the CFDA Awards ceremony on June 1.

OLD Business:
Tax on Baseballs: Was paid - $275.13. After
we see how expenses go this year, we will determine if the League will
"eat" this amount or if each team will pay according to the number of
baseballs ordered. We will check into a
tax-exempt number for next year. We
will also determine if another supplier would give a lower rate for baseballs.
Reminder: NO ALCOHOL at Quakertown, Milford, Easton, and Center Valley -- this
includes fans and umpires and
also includes parking lot. Alcohol was
reported at one of these fields -- drink your beer (and leave your beer cans)
elsewhere. Don't cause the League to
lose use of one of these fine facilities!
Deadbeats: UPDATED 5-7 The following
players cannot be placed on a roster until outstanding monies, uniforms and
equipment are settled with their previous team. Note that our reciprocal agreement with BML will also prevent
these players from being on a BML roster.
Allentown Steve Kampf, uniform; Don Becker,
uniform; Raoul Feliciano, uniform
Silver Creek Jeremy Bartha, uniform; Dan Borden, uniform
Quakertown Mark
Derewicz, John Cressman, Jamie Sellers, and Bill Treshock - candy $
NEW Business:
Glenn Kushma and Josh Williams: Both are eligible to
play in the League and have signed up with Limeport. Kushma never signed an Ambassadors contract. Josh Williams was placed on inactive, quit
the Ambassadors and is getting his release.
He was eligible to play as of 6-4 against Silver Creek.
Game Incidents: Players suspended for one game and on probation the rest of the
year:
Dave Stalsitz,
Bethlehem Red Sox
Maurice Lewis,
Milford, for Saturday June 7
Andy Hammer,
Cetronia, for Sunday June 8
player from
Silver Creek for Limeport game (player name not known, Silver Creek absent)
Cetronia: Must reimburse Joe La Bella $66 for umpires for game cancelled due
to high school playoffs.
Rosters: Deadline for changes is June 21 -- get all changes to Steve
Smull by that date!
Tom Laury: Dave Hemerly clarified Tom Laury was NOT suspended for 3 games
this year due to last year's All-Star Game.
A conversation with his manager, J. Sedler, in 1996 at the time of the all-star game indicated he would not
be suspended for refusing to participate.
Therefore, the statement in last month's minutes was in error.
Meeting Starting Time: J. Marouchoc requested meetings start on time. If any person arrives late, rather than
interrupting meeting to bring them up to speed, they will either be informed
after the meeting for important information or asked to read minutes for other
discussion.
All-Star Game:
I. Nominations: Send your nominations, player AND POSITION
(or DH) to Jan Ciganick by no later than
June 25. Please send earlier if possible. I will be out of town June 25-27 and June 30-July 2, and I have a very narrow
window in which to compile the nominations by position and return them to
you. If you can get them to me early, that would be very
helpful. If you are NOT nominating from
your team (teams are no longer required to nominate) - call or drop me a note,
fax or E-mail to let me know that so I don't call trying to track down your
nominations. I do not want to have to
call you -- please be
cooperative!
2. Food: D. Hemerly will contact Doc Moyer, who
(rumor has it) has a catering company.
3. Statistics: You will receive statistics in the mail by
no later than June 30, so you can study your vote.
4. Door Prizes: Each team must line up a door prize of
approximately $25, as we do every year we are home team. We must
know what your door prize is by next meeting, since they are listed in the
program. You do not have toHAVE the
prize at the meeting, you just have to know what it will be!
5. All-Star
Help: We could use at least one
more person to help with tickets (a bored spouse would be ideal)
and someone to
co-ordinate
door prizes.
Quakertown: Please note that J. Ference is no longer manager. M. Katzbeck and B. Ornosky will co-manage
for remainder of 1997.
Tournament: Joe LaBella is lining up a tournament for the weekend after Labor
Day, September 5, 6, and 7. Double
elimination, $325/team, with prizes, at Scherersville 5, Cetronia, Coplay (for
championship) and possibly other fields.
Teams could be comprized of combinations of teams -- BML and Senior
League also included.
Next meeting: thursday, July 3, 7:30, Spring Valley A.A.
