Tri-County Baseball League

Johnson is no stranger to the struggles of business, having filed for Replica Handbags UK bankruptcy in 2012, but to her it's all part of the ride. "It ain't hard when you love it," she deadpanned. "It's beautiful when you love it, and I still love it after 50 years. I still love it. I'm creative consultant for all my brands, so I kick them in the ass when they need to get a little more Replica Designer Handbags creative. It's great. It's just perfect. I've had a Cheap Watches UK perfectly wonderful, happy life."As for her plans for the Fake Watches UK awards ceremony, she'll attend with her family, including her daughter, Lulu, Hublot Replica UK and two granddaughters. "I'm going to drag my whole family on stage to cartwheel with me," she laughed about what she'll do when she accepts the Christian Louboutin Replica UK award. Just another thing to look forward to at the CFDA Awards ceremony on June 1.

NEW Business:

Bethlehem Umpires Association:    J. LaBella and D. Hemerly met with BUA and laid umpiring problems on the line.  Regarding no-shows, other leagues actually had more chronic problems.  J. LaBella was elected president of BUA, which will hopefully improve our relationship with them.  Northern Yankees and Limeport received Sportsmanship Award from BUA for 1998, which offered 2 free tickets for both teams to BUA banquet (Wednesday, August 5 at Fountain Hill).  J. LaBella cited improved relations with League, fewer incidents, generally more mature attitude.

Playoff Seeding:

1)         Gabelsville (bye)

2)         Lehigh Township

3)         Limeport

4)         Sports Page

5)         South Whitehall

6)         I.C.C.

7)         Cetronia

first round:      Gabelsville gets bye, will play lowest remaining seed in 2nd round

South Whitehall at Sports Page, Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday

ICC at Limeport, Sunday (7:30), Monday and Tuesday (7:30)

Cetronia at Lehigh Township, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday

(some debate about whether Lehigh Township has field available Tuesday.

D.Ernst says documentation must be provided in writing that field is being                                     used before game can be rescheduled.)

Playoffs, Continued

Note that playoff games during the week begin at 5:45 at unlit fields.  They can be scheduled earlier on weekends.  Any playoff date changes for other than weather must be verified through the President.

Cost is $16 (up from $15 last year, we lost money)

Banquet count per team MUST be given at next meeting!

Voting on final awards (MVP, etc.) will be done at next meeting.

Hall of Fame:  Note that Ish Fatzinger, Larry Miller, Kevin Mackey and Don Rosenberger Jr. are

being inducted this year.  Come support some of our League's legends!

A donation of $180 toward Hall of Fame Plaques was generously given by the Spring Valley Sportsmen's Club.  Thanks to Bob Ravier for all his help with this donation.

Other Business:

*          A dispute on a rescheduled game between Lehigh Township and Northern Yankees was settled by each team agreeing to reimburse Joe LaBella for the cost of one umpire.

*          Limeport cited an incident where a player on another team took a deliberate cheap shot at a catcher, in the 7th inning, with 2 outs, and the outcome of the game (10 - 2) not in doubt. Players must remember that our players have jobs to go to the next day; this is not the major leagues. For next By-Law meeting, it should be considered whether suspensions can be imposed if, in the judgment of the President (verified by the umpires at the game), an egregious cheap shot deserves a penalty.

Next meeting:  Thursday, August 20, 7:30, Spring Valley A.A.

*      Banquet Count Due

*      Banquet Ads Due (or give ahead to S. Smull)

*      Voting for MVP, Pitcher, Manager, Rookie, and

        any special awards
