Professional Released Player:   Note that the original decision, to have
Limeport forfeit the game to Stahleys because the professional player was
not released, was appealed to the Commissioner.  The Commissioner overturned
the original decision.  Jack Undercuffler stated his belief that the
commissioner may have been biased, and that the release had to be submitted,
on paper, before the player could participate.  The wrong name was also
initially placed on the roster.  He made a votion to vote on the decision,
which was seconded by Bruce Sokol.  Dave Hemerly stated that the issue had
gone all the way to the top, to the Commissioner, and as per By-Laws,
decision of commissioner stands.  There will be no more discussion on this
subject, and the By-Laws will be tightened for next year.

Playoff Dates and Times: Note that weekend games will be at 5, and beginning
in the second round, weeknight games will be at 5:45.  Rainouts should be
played next night.
First Round: July 29, 5:00; July 30, 5:00; August 1, 6:00.
Second Round: August 3, 5:45; 5th, 5:00; 6th, 5:00; 8th, 5:45; 9th, 5:45.
Finals: August 12, 5:00; August 13, 5:00; 15th, 5:45; 16th, 5:45;
17th, 5:45.

League Picnic vs. Banquet: Representatives preferred a picnic-style banquet
on 10th or 17th of September (after Labor Day).  Sites and costs are being
investigated.

Request from Umpire Assignor and President: Please play all games on the
field.  There will be heavy fines for suspension or misconduct.

Request from President and Officers: If you have a situation to discuss,
please contact the appropriate officer via email, FAX or a written note - do
not call the officer's home or workplace.  The officer will then contact you
when a decision has been reached. 

All-Star Team: attached.  For those who received the original list last
Friday via email, please note that Matt Kuronya was inadvertently and
accidentally left off the original emailed list, and Mike Petrucci has been
dropped at his request.  There is also an updated list on the website.  Note
also that times for players to report have been changed as listed below.
