Treasurer’s Report-

 

Ray Ganser wanted to clarify that the only fines that get doubled if not paid are the Stat Sheets and Missed meeting fees.

 

 

VP Mike Brosious will have tentative schedules for us at the March meeting.  If they are done earlier they will be mailed to you.  Please check the web site for updates.

 

Stahley’s is officially done and will not be in the league.  Tri-City’s new field will be at Scherersville, vacated by Stahley’s.

 

League-wide insurance was initially quoted at $3,100 for the whole league.  More information will be available at the next meeting.  Check the web site for updates.

 

The BUA contract should be ready for approval at the March meeting.  Rusty Hood and John Bachart will be present at the next league meeting.  Steve is also exploring other options that will be discussed at the March meeting.

 

The league voted in the following for the 2001 season:

 

1 division of 12 teams

Every team plays each other 3 times for a 33 game season.

The amount of playoff teams will remain at 7.

 

This year balls will be $ 46.90 a dozen.  We may be able to get our league logo on the balls for next year.  This will be discussed at a later time.

 

Mike Witowski will chair the Hall of Fame Committee.  Other volunteers are Ray Ganser, Chuck Ciganick, Bob Ravier, and Don Rosenberger.

 

The league fee for 2001 will be announced at the March meeting.
