The
league is considering league wide insurance.
The price would be $ 300 to $ 400 per team, depending on how many teams
are involved. Don Rosenberger will look
into how much his current team insurance would cost league wide and report at
the next meeting.
Player
Fees to defray league and banquet costs were discussed and turned down. Instead, Marty Rowan and Steve Smull will
draft a letter soliciting local Corporations for donations.
The
league voted on 1 Division of 13 teams, playing each other 3 times, for a total
of a 36 game schedule for 2002.
Please
get your dates you cannot play to Mike Brosious for the next meeting. 2002 schedules will be available for the
March meeting.
The
league needs better attendance at all league functions and monies owed paid
ASAP.

Higgins said that ANY Tri-Co team can use the bases and equiptment for the
Scherersville #5 field.

By-Law

Article2-Section
2: Home team must notify Umpire Assignor and Statistician within 72 hours of a
rainout
All
games must be rescheduled within 7 days and played within 14 days of a
rainout. The President will reschedule
any games nor rescheduled within this timeframe.

2-Section 8: Raise for the umpire assignor (40$ team)

4-Section 1: Quorum numbers changed to: 4,5,6,7, & 8

5-Section 3: Managers will present a list of $$ owed in May (before the
season)….Manager cannot add anyone to that list after start of season. Equiptment and Uniforms will be enforced
year-round.

5-Section 5: Players DO NOT get a warning (freebie) any more. You get tossed, you get suspended 1
game. You get tossed a 2nd
time, you get suspended 2 games.

5-Section 8: #1 the ‘and’ changed to ‘or’.
Also, 1 coach can be eligible to play games without being on the roster
during the year. A list of eligible
coaches will be made in May before the start of the season and voted on by the
league’s coaches.

10-Section 5: If 2 series end early (2 sweeps), there will be no more than 2
days off before the start of the next series.

12-Section 5: cross out ‘monies owed’.

13-Section 3: Any team that forfeits a game after July 14th is no
longer eligible for the playoffs

ISSUES: All games and ties will be replayed, no matter what. More games will be scheduled in May.
