Reminder:  The All Star Game vs Canada will be August 24^th at 4pm and 7:30pm and August 25^th at 1pm.  All at Limeport Stadium.  All players nominated for the All-Star game will be eligible to play.

 

A few things to remember for 2002:  You have 4 Days to turn in Stat Sheets.  Home teams must call the website with scores the same night.  Radio show is at 9:30am.

 

REMINDER:  You need 19 innings pitched or 20 plate appearances to be eligible to pitch in the playoffs.  You are eligible to play the field in the playoffs with 9 game appearances or 20 plate appearances.

 

Weddings:  Any Weddings or “special occasions” that occur this year during the playoffs must be announced at the June 27^th Meeting.  Lower Nazareth is the only team that cannot play on August 3rd.

Lee Higgins has resigned from the Yankees, effective immediately, due to health reasons.

 

Suspended game:  The coaches voted on weather to play suspended games or to revert back to the last full inning played.  Jason Strunk made the motion to vote.  Seconded by Mike Cunningham.  The vote was 9-1 to revert back to the previous full inning played.  A By-Law will be written in the winter.

 

Yearly Banquet?  Motion by Jeremy Smith, Second by Doc Moyer.  Coaches voted to have one this year, BUT, if attendance is bad we will go to having it every other year.
