LIMEPORT -- The Limeport Bulls continued to roll as they bested the Jordan Creek Gators 9-3 for their 13th straight win. The Bulls pounded out 13 hits. Chris Bensing and Jim Farrell held the Gators to just five hits. Bensing struck out five in six innings and helped his own cause at the plate, homering and driving in two runs in an offensive barrage that saw every Limeport starter get at least one hit. Bensing, Joe Pochron, Kevin Kershner, Nick Remaly, and Sean Donchez each had two hits, while Rich Fenstermaker drove in two runs.

The Bulls began quietly as Jordan Creek's Tom Golden kept them in check through the first four innings, and the Gators gave him a 2-0 lead in the third. Jordan Creek's first baserunner of the evening, Ramone Rabeh walked and moved to second on Vic Acevedo's sacrifice bunt. Tony Toth singled for the team's first hit off Bensing and Rabeh moved to third. He scored a few pitches later after Bensing uncorked a wild pitch. Shawn Cadden's RBI single made it 2-0.

Limeport finally got to Golden in the fifth inning when Bensing led off with his home run. Jonmichael Vito hit a shot into center field thatwas lost in the lights and the ball landed for a double. Vito held at second on Pochron's infield single. After a sacrifice bunt by Kershner, the Gators made a gutsy move by walking Glenn Kushma to load the bases for Fenstermaker. He responded by stroking a two-run single into right field to give the Bulls a 3-2 lead and they never looked back. After a Nick Remaly single, Fenstermaker scored on a passed ball. Donchez doubled to center to score Fenstermaker and Bensing added his second RBI to score Donchez.

Jordan Creek started a very brief rally in the sixth inning. Fabian Acevedo led off with a single and moved to third on fielder's choices. Phil Torcivia singled him and Jeremy Hendricks followed with a single of his own, but a strikeout ended any hope the Gators had at getting back into this game.

Limeport added two more runs in the bottom of the sixth to seal the victory. Pochron led off with a single and swiped second. After Kershner walked, Kushma singled to load the bases. Fenstermaker hit a ground ball to second for a double play, but Pochron scored. Kershner came in to score on an error at third base to cap the scoring at 9-3. Farrell finished the Gators with a scoreless seventh.

The Tri-City Fleetwings (16-9) host both Jordan Creek (10-17) and Limeport (18-7) in their next games, July 5th and 6th, respectively. The Gators will be looking to get back on track after three straight losses, while the Bulls will go for their 14th straight win. Limeport now trails the first-place Lehigh Township Brewers (19-6) by one game.
