--- Brooklyn Bat Company
uses Grade-A wood.
Stores claim they have "Professional grade" bats, but bats
at Dick's and Sports Authority and anywhere else are generally Grade-C
wood...Grade-A wood are reserved for professional players, but this company does
use Grade-A wood and the players here at the Lehigh Valley Baseball Academy will
attest to this by the sound of the ball off these bats & the distance the balls
go off these bats. These bats are Grade-A wood, and you cannot get these in
stores or on the internet, you generally need to know someone to get bats like
this. Tri-County League players may be able to get a discounted price for these
bats, but you need to email Dave at
Dave@BrooklynBatCo.com
to find out as he will hand deliver the bats to LVBA and
then Steve can get the bat(s) to you through your manager or in person after you
have paid for the bat. But Dave can get a quote to you in an email response. |

--- Game 3 at Limeport Stadium will be broadcast on RCN TV Tuesday night at 9:30
and will also be re-broadcast some time on Wednesday...
There will be
live audio play-by-play of Game 3 on the website brought to you by Scott
Johnston...Due to technical difficulties, Game 2 of the Coplay/Gabelsville
series had no audio and will be deleted within the week...Game 4 of the
semifinals will probably be deleted also as we lost audio after 1 1/2 innings
after the verizon signal dropped 4 times...

Saturday and Game 2 is at Gabelsville at 5:00 on Sunday...RCN will telecast Game
3 at Limeport Stadium at 7:00 on Tuesday...Games 4 & 5 (if necessary) are also
scheduled at 7:00 at Limeport Stadium next WED and THUR...

Stat sheets
will be posted as soon as the webmaster gets them...The way you know whether a
stat sheet has been posted is simple: If you see "received 5/11" (or whatever
the date), you know the stat sheet has been posted on the site and if you do not
see that, then the Statistician didn't receive it yet... |

--- The 2005 and 2006 Trico Programs were passed out at the meeting to the
Managers and we ask that the MGRs bring them to the first couple of games for
the players to look at...These 2 programs have been added to the site as PDF
files on the Past Trico Programs page under the League History link...

--- The new Directions pages for each team are all up...You can now go to
Mapquest.com, type in your home adresss as the "Starting Location", then type in
the "Ending Location" provided on each teams' directions page, and you will have
exact directions from your door to EVERY field...

--- I posted a Trico Site Tutorial link on the Home Page as some people have
issues with the new navigation bar and what I have found out is that people who
do not have Internet Explorer 7 cannot see "Level 3" of the navigation
bar...Please check out the page to learn more about navigating through our
new website...

--- The Team pages have been updated along with many other pages...It has been
discovered that the new navigation bar up top cannot be complete seen unless you
have Internet Explorer 7.0 on your pc...When you hover on "Teams", there will be
a drop-down box where the 10 teams show up, but to the right of each team, there
should be another drop-down box with 8 options for every team...I will add a
tutorial to the site shortly with print screens on what people should be seeing...

website...The Career Leaders are updated through 2005 (the last season with
aluminum bats) and I won't update the career Leaders with the 2006 season until
around the start of the 2007 season...

sheets and articles are in there...The plan for now is that I can hopefully
overhaul a complete season every 2 days, so with 5 more seasons to go, perhaps I
will be done in 10 days with seasons 2000 thru 2004...Hopefully...

Also, the
website is in the process of being overhauled to the "new" site...This will take
time as approximately 4000 pages need to be updated and then placed on to the
